Monaco post celebrates Monte Carlo Rolex Masters - the most prestigious tennis tournaments by issuing new special edition stamp.

The Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters is an annual tennis tournament for male professional players that are considered to be one of the most prestigious events of this kind. This important sporting event has acquired popularity all over the world.

The Monte Carlo tennis championship was first held in 1897. Since then Monaco post has been issuing postage stamps to celebrate this prestigious sporting event.

This year it is going to be held during 8 to 17 April. Hence, Monaco post has issued a beautiful stamp of €1.60 featuring a scenic aerial view of the Tennis Court.

The world’s best players will be competing at the iconic Monte-Carlo Country Club from 9 to 17 April 2016.
